DINO GAVINA: A CREATIVE LABORATORY for Design Week

Sunday, September 30, the Fondazione Cirulli will conclude Bologna Design Week with a special event dedicated to the history of the building that headquarters the Fondazione, designed and built in the 1960s by the architects Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Dino Gavina. This guided tour will illustrate the key role played by this building in the history of 20th century visual culture and industrial design, when it became a creative laboratory frequented by artists and designers such as Carlo Scarpa, Marcel Breuer, Man Ray, and Marcel Duchamp. The guided tour "Dino Gavina: a creative laboratory" will then be offered every last Sunday of the month.

For this inaugural event, the guided tour will have the special prices of just 5 euros + 5 euros for the entrance ticket.
