The Fondazione Massimo e Sonia Cirulli, in cooperation with Fondazione Olivetti and Olivettiana, hosts a seminar on design and advertising at Olivetti.

The seminar tackles two main areas of inquiry: product design and advertising design, related to products and to Olivetti’s corporate image, in the period between 1908 and 1988.

We will discuss these topics through the voice of protagonists of this era, such as Architect and Graphic Designer Antonio Macchi Cassia, who designed the first Olivetti portable computer, the M10, Smau Award in 1983 and Compasso d’oro career award in 2016.

We will ask ourselves which role Olivetti’s experiences, methods, techniques, and products can have today.
