The Fondazione Cirulli at the 11th edition of the Triennale Design Museum

April 14, 2018

The Fondazione Massimo e Sonia Cirulli will participate in the 11th edition of the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.

This latest edition of the exhibition will illustrate the character of Italian design through a plurality of case studies that will help viewers understand its complex nature and identity. The design objects in the exhibition will explore the problem of masterpieces: which objects should have a permanent home in a museum of design? What can be considered iconic? And finally, does the term "iconic" carry any value in the context of design?

The Fondazione Massimo e Sonia Cirulli is pleased to take part in this new exhibition project with the loan of several advertising posters designed by Marcello Dudovich, Giovanni Pintori, and Xanti Schawinsky. In the course of their artistic careers, these individuals frequently collaborated with important Italian companies, and gave strength to the synergy between fine arts and business enterprise that is a defining element of Italian design.
